Glenn Beck and "liberal" hypocrisy

Remember the "funny" bit on Air America where they "joked" about assassinating Bush? At the time, I said:
I believe nothing will happen concerning this for at least two reasons: it will be determined that there is no credible threat, and only "liberals" can do the sustained outrage bit...
As it turns out, I was right.

Now, "liberals" are trying to get conservative talk show host Glenn Beck fired over an apparent satire he did in which he described strangling Michael Moore. Radio Equalizer has the details. As you might imagine, the Soros-funded group Media Matters is involved, as are all the other usual suspects. The last link points out this discussion at Daily Dross:
...Imagine if a left-wing "satirist" did something like this. Imagine if Al Franken said "You know I'd like to kill Bill O'Reilly." Imagine what the right would be saying...

...What would the right do if Al Franken said this? ...They would do everything in their power to rip him apart and permanently destroy his reputation, send complaints to the FCC and lobby to get him taken off the air...

...Yes .. if Al Franken talked about killing someone on the air, he SHOULD be taken off...
