The California Teacher's Association is conducting large anti-Schwarzenegger rallies on Wednesday May 25 in both downtown Los Angeles and Sacramento. Details here.
To anyone who's watched the CTA's anti-Arnold antics, words and phrases like "passive-aggressive a$$holes", "psycho shrews" and "gender-baiting sleazebags" have no doubt come to mind. And, they've also got a Big Lie:
Together, we are sending the message that we don't need to waste $70 million on a special election in November for initiatives that hurt us all.
In fact, Miller's spot describes how many nurses and others this $70 million could pay for.
Now, seriously, have you ever known Democrats to be concerned about spending $70 million? Especially in California, where the Democrats in the legislature would be even too extreme for Lenin. They waste billions of dollars a year and they've plunged the state deep into debt, and now they want to save $70 million? I don't believe it for a second, and I don't think most of those who say this do either.
The problem, of course, is that while many of their fellow travelers will go along with the Big Lie, other fellow travelers will actually believe it.
Here's a site for anyone who's tired of the lies: Join Arnold!
