Mike Malloy gets introspective, mellow

Air America Radio's wackiest host, Mike Malloy, presented an award at some show or other in Atlanta tonight. The first hour of his show was a rebroadcast, but he came back live during the second hour.

He described how he was listening to the rebroadcast of his show while driving in from the awards. Paraphrasing his mellow, introspective musings:

...the music started out good, then this screaming liberal came on... he kept saying 'son of a bitches'... I said that a lot... my wife told me I shouldn't say that so much... I sound very strident... I can only imagine what it must be like for people who are hearing the show for the first time...

Then, almost in the next breath:

...what's wrong with all you Republican pigs who are old enough to have piglets who can go over and kill towel-heads?...

Does Gov. Dr. Howard Dean M.D. need an assistant?

Like all of us guys in the red states I am about a 700 pound proud gun-totin redneck hick hayseed. Problem is, I'm stuck in my house with only my AM radio and can't get out cuz I'm too big to fit out the door. I done ate all the food in the house and now I'm eatin the carpet and furniture. Man, I'm glad Bush got elected cuz we are sure showin those ragheads, huh? Jesus should be down any minute to let me out.
