AAR to rock Beeville, Texas. Just not San Antonio.

Air America Radio is no doubt proud to announce their 70th affiliate, KTXX out of Karnes City, Texas. Where? Well, for a clue to that we turn to the station's title: "103.1, San Antone". Only problem: the station is 50 miles from that city, and is predicted to be in the "fringe" listening area for the half of that city that can hear it.

"NYLefty" tries to smear us and others with this:

It really annoys me when AAR does this. This station will get zero ratings in the San Antonio Arbitrons and the right will seize on that fact as further "proof" that AAR is "failing." But obviously a station can't get ratings in a market where it can't be heard!

Au contraire! When and if I mention that station I'll make it quite clear exactly what's going on.
