The Air America Radio scandal has deepened, widened, and gotten downright comical as it now turns out that their recently-resigned vice president of finance, Sinohe Terrero, had been the finance director of the Gloria Wise Boys and Girls Club in the Bronx from 2000-2002, working under Evan Cohen. Whew! So, it appears that despite the pleadings of Al Franken et al, there was at least one other link to the ancienne regime.
Coverage here and here; NYSun subscriber-only report here.
There are also some questions about AAR's supposed repaying of the loan; The last I heard they had wired it into a trust account; a lawyer messing with his trust account can be disciplined or disbarred. While I'm not expecting that to be an issue, there appears to be some question over when the money was actually put in the account by AAR.
It looks like AAR might be in deeper trouble than previously expected, and I'm taking the following highly unorthodox and unusual move.
I hereby declare this site as an AAR Sanctuary Site. If any AAR hosts, employees, investors, or directors would like to stop in and "rap", the door is open and I intend to do my best to make sure that you receive a fair hearing.
