Al Franken in Cambridge on Tuesday Nov 15

And, no one except for the Boston Herald cares about his appearance at WKOX (WTF?) and WXKS. The link is a standard blurb about Franken's new book, complete with the news that he's still moving back to Minnesota, from whence he'll continue to consider running for Senate. It also contains the following absolutely nonsensical bit from the book:

George W. Bush wants to amend our Constitution to make it illegal for gays to marry. But evidently, he has no problem with terrorists getting married. America can't afford a president who is soft on terrorist marriage. Because unlike gays, terrorists can breed.

If you were a "liberal", that would make sense.

How this guy can be described as a humorist is a mystery to me. Must have been that SNL stuff. But I never found that show to ever be that funny.

Not funny? I found that line pretty hilarious myself. Don't you guys have a sense of humor?

I am by no means a fan of Al, but this statement is kind of funny. It's a little bit of satire. Whether you find it funny or not is your call, but it is definately meant as satire.
