Both share quotes and the news that Stuart is moving back to Minneapolis and that he's still - still! - considering a Senate run. And - I don't need to tell you this - neither mention that little unpleasantness involving that little loan, the paperwork Franken signed saying that he knew about that loan, and all of that resulting in the Gloria Wise Boys and Girls Club losing their membership in the parent organization.
Why doesn't he just release one big set of standard answers and let "reporters" build a pretend-interview out of that? It'd be the same thing. Oh well, I guess we'll have to wait for
Pat Paulsen's Al Franken's Senate run for the real questioning to begin.

I e-mailed the reporter for the Tribune about his fluff piece. I didn't mention Gloria Wise, but instead focused on Franken's temper and his near-fistfights with Hannity, Colmes, Medved, etc. I also brought up Franken calling Brit Hume "an a--hole" who is "m-----f---ing shameless". The reporter's response: Have you read his books? As if that excuses Franken's temper tantrums. Oh well. The Tribune has become a pretty useless paper, almost as bad as The Oregonian.

Is this site for real? Al Franken will be a senator of the United States very soon. Save your pot-shots until then you losers.
