Air America back in Phoenix on KPHX-AM (1480)

Air America Radio is back in Phoenix, now screeching forth from KPHX-AM (1480). It's a leased arrangement with the managing company owned by Mike Newcomb and... AAR co-founder Sheldon Drobny.

AAR was originally on KXXT, but VRWC PROPLAN #7324-AIN took care of that. The attempt to sell pixels appears to have failed.

CEN-AZ-OP: OPCEN 8X3, OPS UTT3, 842, 2844, AUTH 19 GO.

Funny little site this is. Not very accurate and so full of hate. Ha ha...... About as credible as the cowardly cocaine squatter in the White House. For every point KFYI's ratings fall (and they are falling!), Air America will rise in proportion.

What's the matter with you? Do you actually still support Bush a.k.a. "shrub"? If you do, you certainly do not care for all the most important issues that we should be addressing...i.e. education; environment;staying out of war...i.e. statesmanship (of course, the mafia in control never heard of this; economy (ever heard of a surplus being turned into a deficit so quickly?; respect of the world. I could go on forever. But you probably wouldn't get it. So listen to Air America and get educated. Turn off the right wing television and radio. They are corrupting what brain you lave left.

I did listen to Air America, Kathy, and I got an education, all right. I learned that the left is full of hate.

For every point KFYI's ratings fall (and they are falling!), Air America will rise in proportion.

Let's test that theory with the new Phoenix ratings.

KFYI went from a 4.8 to a ... 4.8.

Keep fighting against the Proletariat, Comrades!!!

No one spreads hate and racism more than the Republican extreme right conservative machine. The list of their failures continues to grow to an outright embarrassing number. Never in the history of this country have we seen so many negative articles and impeachable offenses on a near daily basis. Yet, the power of this administration can only be described as a protection wall of greedy crony corporate criminals. You want an example of hate and attacks, Republicans attacked Bill Clinton for his secret relationship and pushed for impeachment over this ONE offense, not to mention spending millions upon millions for the investigation. Now they cry that we are hitting to hard and that we are full of hate. If I were to spend the time posting all the impeachable offenses this current administration has done, it would fill up this website and a few others just trying to fit it all in. Conservatives and the right wingers will lose their grip on Congress and the power will shift back into balance. Your days of give to the rich and take from the poor are over. We are fighting to take back our country! Show a little respect and as hard as it may be, try to be an American. Your an embarrassment to our country and everything it stands for.

TODAY'S BALD FACED LIE FROM AIR AMERICA, PHOENIX

Mike Newcomb, local Air America, KPHX morning guy, fielded questions this morning about the theory that the 9-11 attack was the product of U.S. Gov't plotting.

His sidekick, with the machinegun "I really know these facts" tone of voice, assured one skeptical caller that the U.S. Gov't had engineered bogus attacks to start wars. One example he gave (on air, at 7:29 a.m. on May 17):

The slogan "Remember the Maine" derived from the U.S. Gov'ts secret bombing of a U.S. naval ship -- to win popular support for a war against Mexico in 1812.

Dr. Mike Newcomb applauded this factoid as a valid "historical perspective."

It's the chutzpah of these fellows -- they are Dead Wrong.

Fact: U.S.S. Maine -- suffered an explosion in 1898, which provoked the war against Spain, long after Spain had given up control of Mexico.

It wasn't 1812, it wasn't about Mexico.

Reading the Wikipedia entry, three investigations decided that an external mine had caused the massive explosion of the powder; one investigation suggested a spontaneous combustion of the coal stored near the powder magazine.

No serious suggestion is published that the ship was deliberately sunk by the U.S. Govt to provoke a war. Indeed, it would be silly, given that the Maine was a major battleship, and the same provocation could be achieved by sinking a much smaller and much less important ship.

Air America -- can't even get the facts straight when they act superior.

Anyone who thinks that 09/11 happened like the guvmint says probably thinks Chimpy Bush is a real stud.

Jesus wake up and smell the coffee! The Bush Crime Syndicate wouldn't blink twice at killing however many peple are needed to reamin in power.
