Arianna Huffington and/or her censoring web minions have finally gotten radio loony Sheldon Drobny to stop using ALL CAPS in the titles of his posts at her site: "Drobnys Nova M Radio Starts Broadcasting Air America In Little Rock". Next step: Introduction to Punctuation.
Air America radio will begin broadcasting in Central Arkansas on Monday with appearances by former president Bill Clinton and retired general Wesley Clark. The national network broadcast will be carried by Little Rock-based KXDE 1380am, which Nova M Radio recently acquired through LMA with an option to purchase. "We're about giving people another voice to hear," said Nova M's president and CEO Anita Drobny in a telephone interview today. "We want people to digest, compare, discuss, and have an open forum..." ...The Arkansas station will be close to the 100th Air America affiliate nationwide, and Drobny calls the network's expansion "the biggest rollout of a network since CNN."
On a non-serious note, which alternate universe are they communicating to us from? On a serious note, is this the first direct link between Bubba and Air America and the Drobnys?
UPDATE: Based on the locations of the transmitters for AAR's "Chicago" and "San Antonio" stations, is it too much to ask whether KXDE is in fact located in the city limits of Little Rock? Could it be the Station From Hope? Or, perhaps, Hot Springs?

KXDE-AM will have to work VERY hard to maintain ANY kind of an audience. Generally Air America stations tend to be poorly rated, though their Portland and Seattle stations have bucked the trend.
However internet radio including Podcasting is the only real hope for Air America; perhaps KXDE-AM will consider looking into podcasting as well.
Most central Arkansawyers who ARE interested in talk radio will stick with REAL talk radio like Rush Limbaugh and Michael Savage and Sean Hannity.
Clinton and Clark may draw a national audience but many central Arkansawyers will likely tune them out in favour of real talk radio hosts like Glenn Beck and Neal Boortz and G Gordon Liddy.

This station is actually KDXE 1380 licensed to North Little Rock and it does cover Little Rock pretty well. IIRC this station was being pitched at several sites for around $550,000 about 6 months ago.

Just because it's "licensed" to North Little Rock doesn't mean it isn't located in Hope.
As for the confusion over KDXE/KXDE, the first version, as used by "Bill", appears to be the correct one. It's pretty shocking that the owner of the station can't even get that right.

The "Chicago" stations that carry Savage and O'Reilly are located in Elk Grove Village and Elmwood Park, respectively.

...and WLS (Limbaug & Hannity's "Chicago") station transmits from Tinley Park:
I'm sure if one wanted to bother to check, they'd find the vast majority of metropolitan radio stations actually house their equipment in the suburbs. It seems extremely foolish of you to continue to harp on an issue that most certainly is a matter of geographic practicality for radio stations in general than yet another fantastical example of liberal liars lying.
