Jerry Springer: ashamed of his radio show?

Jerry Springer appeared on Tuesday night's Jimmy Kimmel Show, and the following is an accurate representation of his appearance:
[...five minutes of blather about his appearance on Dancing with the Stars, with several references to the Jerry Springer (TV) Show...]

Jimmy Kimmel: ...And you're doing a radio show...

[...three minutes of blather about his appearance on Dancing with the Stars, with several references to the Jerry Springer (TV) Show...]
Certainly, Jerry could have just been there to plug his new dancing career, but giving such short shrift to something he does a few hours every weekday is odd. Unless, of course, that's the only thing he's ever done that he's ashamed of.
