Judge: Defamation suit against bankrupt Air America can proceed

The "government contractor" CACI - which is involved in some way in U.S. prisons in Iraq - has been cleared to proceed with their defamation suit against Air America and Randi Rhodes over statements she made on her show:

The suit stemmed from comments Rhodes made Aug. 25-26, 2005 on her radio show. According to CACI's complaint, she accused CACI employees of raping and murdering Iraqi civilians at Abu Ghraib prison, claims that CACI said were "false and defamatory."

They claim that the fact that Air America is bankrupt doesn't matter because any judgment would be paid by insurance. As everyone knows, it would never be paid out of profits.

Yesterday Jan.2,07, Randi Rhodes accused Pres. Bush 1 of somehow (in her deluded twisted way)being involved in JFK's death. (Go to White Rose Society -between 4-6). And she stills spews Pres. Bush was behind 9-11...that he was responsible for building 3 collapsing. She slanders and lies on a daily basis. She is 100 times worse than Limbaugh. Yet she gets away with her endless B.S.because nobody listens to her show.
