...Franken reportedly began peppering Fritz with questions about supporting President George W. Bush and former President Ronald Reagan's tax hikes. Fritz told me he got tense and, as he does in those situations, started chewing the inside of his mouth, a gesture he said was mimicked by Franken; Fritz also thought his style of speech was mocked by Franken. And, Fritz' account of the events was backed up by the president of the Carleton Dems. Al Franken truly has no class.
An aide eventually interrupted Franken's act, Fritz said, by announcing to the candidate that it was time to go.
Fritz told me Monday that he then stuck out his hand to shake Franken's. "Well, at least it's nice to meet you," the GOPer said he told Franken, who reportedly replied, I can't say the same.
There was no handshake, said Fritz.

I have reviewed past articles written by Ariana about Hillary. I have also listened to Maher over the past year. Both have been very critical of the Clintons. I watched Bill Maher tonight and could not believe that Bill actually defended the Clintons' tactics. I also watched Mark Green on Hardball pretending he was neutral about the Clintons and at the same time defending them. Now let's connect the dots. One thing you can say about Sheldon Drobny: he will fight the power, wheresoever that power may be. As he says, "Ariana and Maher have some explaining to do." Note also, that, proving his non-elitist bonafides, Sheldon jumps into comments, pointing out that he hasn't "received any money from the inside power elite" and that if AAR had received such moneys it wouldn't "have been run so poorly".
Hillary will not appear on any liberal radio shows other than Air America Radio (AAR the network that I started). Both Bill and Hillary get lots of money from the Billionaire Green family. In return the Clintons have helped AAR post bankruptcy. Almost a year ago I asked Ariana if she would do a show on our Nova Radio Network. She refused and decided to do a show with Mark Green, the CEO of AAR. Ariana and Bill Maher are very close friends. It appears that the rich and famous liberal elites have put fame and fortune ahead of principle.

Has the Young Turks program been dropped from the Air America Radio network, or is it just resting? Unfortunately for us, it appears to be the former, and they've been dropped from AAR's satellite channel on XM too.
On the one hand, it was probably a fairly popular show for AAR or it could have been. And, I'm sure their audience skews a bit young as opposed to replacements like Bill Press who skews old. But, it's unfortunate because we'll miss them dragging AAR's name even further through the mud by doing things like hiring Mike Stark. They say they're trying to build a "progressive web network" and they'll henceforth be streaming shows from their website. Good luck, since there are probably even fewer progressives who have computers than radios.
The Kossacks deal with their loss here. The split was foretold as "amicable" here.

Progressives who want to beat Norm Coleman only have one choice: Mike Ciresi. The polls show that Al Franken's negatives are too high, while Ciresi's are not.
Accordingly, to help you Minnesotans make the right choice, here's a new TV commercial from Mike Ciresi (big time Hollywood, California star Al Franken is still working on his ads):
Meanwhile, sure loser Al Franken has a "very special announcement" here. He says they raised almost $7 million from almost 80,000 people. What he doesn't disclose is the distribution; I'd imagine that a disproportionate share comes from a small number of Hollywood and liberal insiders.
In other news, Al Franken's twin brother has flicked his own TV commercial for his brother, live from Central America: link.
UPDATE: I cherish all visitors, especially commenters, and especially those of a "liberal" bent. In fact, I'll bet that people and hosts from Air America have even visited this site in the past and they're, of course, very welcome to leave comments. As for the comment from "1", the reason why illegal immigration continued despite the Republicans controlling the presidency and Congress is because only some Republicans support our laws. The Republican leadership, such as Bush, McCain, Lindsey Graham, etc. are aligned with the Democrats in supporting illegal immigration. Only a few GOP Senators and dozens of GOP House members oppose illegal immigration, and they fought against the schemes from Bush and the Democrats.

Jerry Springer has put together a tape with his highlights from his glory days on Air America Radio. That's Randi Rhodes around the 4 minute mark:

"We have to be entertaining and not just grim... [Rush Limbaugh's listeners are like] where a CEO or minister will order their flock to do something and when they're kind of top down authoritarian -- look at Bush. Are there people more closed-minded than "liberals"? Do I really need to provide examples? How many weeks would I have to spend sitting here typing in examples? I'm sorry, but AAR isn't worth that. But, for just one data point, consider Janeane Garofalo. She's not open-minded in the least: anyone who disagrees with her is, according to her, automatically a bad person.
...You saw how a super-majority of Fox listeners and conservative radio listeners believe there (are) still weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. So they're uneducable.
Air America listeners... are liberal, meaning someone who's open-minded and don't just listen to our hosts."
