Has the Young Turks program been dropped from the Air America Radio network, or is it just resting? Unfortunately for us, it appears to be the former, and they've been dropped from AAR's satellite channel on XM too.
On the one hand, it was probably a fairly popular show for AAR or it could have been. And, I'm sure their audience skews a bit young as opposed to replacements like Bill Press who skews old. But, it's unfortunate because we'll miss them dragging AAR's name even further through the mud by doing things like hiring Mike Stark. They say they're trying to build a "progressive web network" and they'll henceforth be streaming shows from their website. Good luck, since there are probably even fewer progressives who have computers than radios.
The Kossacks deal with their loss here. The split was foretold as "amicable" here.
