Al Franken draws crowd... of one person

Al Franken's dazzling popularity with Minnesotans was on display yesterday as he gave a speech to one person at Brigitte's Cafe in St. Cloud. In fact, Josh John of that city was the only person (aside from the media) who showed up at Franken's roundtable on veteran issues. They proceeded to discuss those issues for the next hour.

After breaking away from the crowd (of one), Franken went to the Benton County Fair in Sauk Rapids. There were more people there, but whether any were there to see Stuart is probably unlikely.
