Al Franken loses appeal over absentee ballots

The Minnesota state Canvassing Board today rejected Democrat Al Franken's request to count absentee ballots his campaign says were wrongly rejected by poll judges...Also, that AP photo of Stuart to the right isn't exactly flattering. I guess when a Democrat has lost the AP there's no hope for them.
There were a total of more than 12,000 rejected absentee ballots, or about 5 percent of the roughly 288,000 absentee ballots attempted to be cast, [Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie] said. That 288,000 figure was a state record...
UPDATE: There's more on the wrangling here. The bottom line is, how far will the loser take their court case(s)? To be frank, I'm hoping that Franken wins in expectation of seeing drunken 3am chair throwing on CSPAN.
