Yesterday's Keith Olbermann show featured ex-cutie and current scary Janeane Garofalo whining and screeching about Rush Limbaugh, someone who approximately more people listen to in a week than have seen either of them throughout their entire careers. But, popularity doesn't mean that much, it's the quality of one's ideas that matters. And, here's a sample...

From this: Duluth city clerk Jeff Cox was subpoenaed to testify at the U.S. Senate recount trial Thursday, but he refused because of inadequate reimbursement, according to court documents filed Thursday in Ramsey County District Court. Cox was subpoenaed by Al Franken in the case between Franken and Norm Coleman. Cox received a check for...

First: if you're Sheldon Drobny, please don't do it. While this site has made fun of you and your network and hosts occasionally, we do want to keep you around. Now, on to the big news: Drobny's NovaM Radio is apparently going to shut down, according to the Radio Equalizer (link). He's received a letter...

Janeane Garofalo is back and has more cute things to say (link): The reason a person is a conservative republican is because something is wrong with them. Again, that's science – that's neuroscience. You cannot be well adjusted, open-minded, pluralistic, enlightened and be a republican. It's counter-intuitive. And they revel in their anti-intellectualism. They revel...

Randi Rhodes' listener just emailed me to inform me that Randi hasn't been doing her show for the last few days, including today. He said he was trying to find other listeners who knew what was going on, but, after a full day of searching he found one other person who'd heard the show...

Comrade Bill Press has an excellent editorial in the WaPo called "Another Right-Wing Conspiracy in Washington?" (link). He discusses vital issue of Obama1260, the libtalk powerhouse that was recently taken off the air, ostensibly because it's ratings were too low to be measurable. That was just a cover story! The comrade identifies Clear Channel and...

Forced to choose between her evening Air America Radio show, the Logical Talking 101 class she's taking at the Little Red Schoolhouse, and her matchbook collecting hobby, Rachel Maddow has made the most difficult choice of all: she's dropping the AAR show (link). But, don't worry! She'll still be on the air. Bits and pieces...

Is there any "liberal" more heartwarmingly wholesome and peace-loving than Mike Malloy? None that I've met, with his latest outburst/plea for attention being discussed at [1]. Per them, Malloy said: "The Republican Party needs to be executed as quickly as possible." And: Some horrifyingly intense America-hater like Rush Limbaugh, who appears to be morphing into,...

Even the great Lionel could not save Obama 1260, as the only "progressive" station in the Washington DC area is shutting down (link). Formerly yclept WWRC, the station was renamed after the Leader but even that couldn't save it from a ratings disaster. Those ratings collapsed to a level so low it couldn't be measured....
