Call me Andy Rooney, but I really don't think Mattel should have come out with Totally Stylin' Tattoo Barbie. No, really: that's their new version of the venerable doll. It comes with enough paste-on tats that impressionable young girls should feel free to let their imaginations run wild, posing their role model as a featured dancer, a curbside entertainer, a cocktail waitress at a dive bar in Lomita, or what have you.
But, one thing we know for sure: she wasn't modeled after Janeane Garofalo since there's no "Liberal" tattoo and when you pull the doll's string she doesn't being screeching.
The special tat applicator is to the right.
