Air America auctioning off assets, including their mailing list

Are you on Air America Radio's mailing list? If so, you might need to prepare for an avalanche of "special offers": AAR's Chapter 7 bankruptcy auction includes their mailing list. The auction catalogue is here and the site that broke the news is here.

According to AAR's terms:

The Air America site has a newsletter distributed via e-mail. If you choose to subscribe to this feature, you must provide a valid e-mail address. Your e-mail address will be used only by Air America for the distribution of the newsletter and any promotions or marketing that we feel may be of interest to you and will not be divulged to any third party, except as required by court order.

The problem, of course, is that AAR no longer exists; looking up case law on selling mailing lists is left as an exercise.

Note also that you might be able to pick up AirAmerica.com, their name, and their phone numbers, so have at it bargain hunters.
